Legislative Program

During the General Assembly Session, regional leaders from the counties of Chesterfield, Hanover, and Henrico, the City of Richmond, the Richmond Regional PDC, the Crater PDC, and the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce hold monthly meetings with the Capital Region Caucus. These meetings facilitate the exchange of information about the work of legislative committees and study commissions, as well as activities within each jurisdiction.

On December 10, 2009 the RRPDC unanimously approved the 2010 Legislative Agenda. The Agenda contains 27 declarations of support or opposition on issues impacting the Richmond Region, which are divided into five topic areas – Governing Locally, Environment, Growth, Public Safety Funding, and Transportation.
