Citizen Participation

Reports

Through this program the Urban Transportation Planning Division staff provides administrative and technical services for the Richmond Area MPO’s (RAMPO) public participation process.  This support ensures an active and involved citizen participation program that meets federal and state requirements for public involvement in the transportation planning process.

The Urban Transportation Planning staff provides administrative and technical services for RAMPO's Citizens Transportation Advisory Committee (CTAC).  The committee is composed of individuals and organizations representing the region's population and advises the MPO on plans, studies, issues and other matters related to the planning of public transportation services.

Meeting schedules, as well as all meeting agendas and minutes, notices, reports, newsletters, plan documents and other information regarding the MPO are posted on the web site regularly.

In addition, the RAMPO conducts outreach activities for low-income and minority communities in support of public review and comment on MPO plan and program documents.
