Richmond Regional PDC staff provides a variety of environmental planning services for the region’s nine localities.  This program is supported in large part by an annual grant from the Virginia Coastal Resources Management Program of the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality.  Projects include:

  1. Review of environmental permit requests and subsequent notification of affected localities

  2. Periodic workshops and technical sessions on current issues, mapping and GIS work for member jurisdictions and local agencies

  3. Attendance of various local committees

  4. Researching information requests.
