Planning
staff provides a variety of housing and community development services for the
region’s nine localities. Regional projects include cell-tower mapping,
strategic plan maintenance, and community development block grant regional
priority development. Locality-specific projects include land use plans
and ordinances and management of community development block grant construction
projects. In addition, the PDC provides technical assistance to one
of the region's four urban localities on an annual rotation basis. The
rotation is the City of Richmond, Chesterfield County, Henrico County, and
Hanover County. Copies of completed documents and maps are included
in this section.
