The Urban Transportation Division staff coordinates the local development of socioeconomic data estimates and forecasts by traffic analysis zone (TAZ) and develops estimates and projections of employment and automobile registrations. In addition, reports are developed showing population, housing unit/households with number of students. There is a Socioeconomic Data Committee Work Group comprised of local planning staffs which provides administrative and technical support for the MPO's socioeconomic data committee. On an annual basis, RAMPO reviews local population counts and makes adjustments to the RAMPO study and urbanized area boundary lines as needed.
