Throughout the summer and fall of 2010, the Collaborative will be holding public forums and attending meetings to hear comment and opinion in order to determine whether the Strawman Draft of Regional Priorities adequately reflects broad public sentiment.

As reported in the May 13 Richmond Times-Dispatch, the Collaborative is seeking input from the community on these draft priorities. We are interested in learning which priorities residents support, which cause concern, and if any additional ideas should be added to our draft. During the summer and fall of this year, we will be inviting residents to participate in public forums and attend meetings to express their opinions about our Region’s priorities. We are committed to an inclusive process and encourage participation in this effort by all interested residents of our community

We are eager to hear from the Richmond Region on how we can better coordinate our resources and actions to enhance our shared quality of life. We look forward to participation from throughout the greater Richmond community as we continue this cooperative effort to make our shared home a greater place to live, work, and play.

If your organization or community group would like to participate in this process, please contact us about receiving a presentation on the Capital Region Collaborative.
